I love Ever After High and for the longest time my favorite was Raven Queen. And she still is but I really like Duchess now.
In the webisodes they make Duchess seem like an epic villain but she's just a complicated character like Raven. There isn't a lot of complicated characters in this series.
This book is about Duchess Queen dealing with being in a class for villains and having to do an assignment that is really evil or risk failure, which Duchess Swan just doesn't do. That's just what the book's about.
I gave it five stars because I found the story to be really good, Ever After High does have a good message to it and this book conveys that message well. The wording used in it was whimsical and delightful which is rare in middle grade novels. The storyline is good and there's a lot of puns. I like puns.
I do recommend this book. I recommend all of the Ever After High books. Haha
